Is trying to get medical insurance literally killing you faster than your terminal illness?
If someone is suffering from a pre-existing medical condition such as cancer, how would they find the time and effort to look for an insurance provider? Most insurance companies don’t cover anyone with a history of cancer. If you don’t know what cancer is then, let me briefly describe; Sickness and Death are the usual cause and effect. Though some people have results that vary, many others are fall as victims of this devastating disease. So this means that the insurance company doesn’t care if he or she dies from the disease. They don’t want to do anything to help or aid the disease or make any attempt to help the individual that’s suffering from the specific illness. So is this what we need in America? Is this what we want to tell kids? That if they get terminally ill, they will die because they won’t be able to get insurance to help with their doctor bills and medical cost.  There is only one way to get medical insurance if you have a pre-existing medical condition. That one way is to lie on your application, but is that what we want to lead our society to?
Becoming ill or being diagnosed with an illness such as cancer, is most people’s nightmare and becoming terminally ill is a person’s last thought. America needs to stand up for our people and stop standing up for the big businesses of America. Insurance companies are an endangerment to the human race. They do nothing to help the individuals who aren’t as fortunate to live a strong healthy life. Insurance companies don’t want to spend money on individuals that really need their help. As a nation, America needs to stand up and fight for what is right. Letting individuals that suffer from pre existing medical conditions die from illness, can be stopped if insurance companies started paying and helping everyone with their medical cost.
Awareness needs to be promoted in America with a sense of urgency. Many individuals are not aware of the way insurance companies treat their neighbors, friends, or family until someone that they truly love is diagnosed with a terminally ill disease. As a nation everyone needs to depend on each other to make it known in all communities that the United States of America has a huge issue in insurance and it needs to be addressed promptly. With help from everyone in this great nation, this problem will be solved once and for all. There will never be another dying person in America that gets denied coverage from an insurance company. Insurance companies will no longer turn down victims of cancer no matter what the circumstance may be. Even if a person is five minutes from dying, they will still be able to get insured if desired. As One Nation Under God, lets tackle this problem. Let’s make a stand, get insurance companies to alter their plans, and lend a helping hand to the citizens of America.
